Its file managers, Btrieve and PFM (Pragma File Manager), tested over and over in Pragma 4, give you two robust databases and with Btrieve the choice of working in client server mode.
Files are unlimited in size; the only constraint is available disk space. Multiple indexes are available and fields are variable length.
Pragma 5 supports an extensive record locking scheme for multiuser environments.
Pragma 5 is interpreted for ease of custom tailoring your applications to the needs of your clients and then maintaining the applications over the phone.

Pragma 5 can be and has been translated into many foreign languages. All reserved words and system messages are simply and directly translatable.
